I never really thought about it before, but whenever we are out of the country and people ask where we’re from, I say Texas. Do people from other states say The United States?

Thanks for this! I went there in 2nd grade when my dad was stationed for two years at Laughlin. This would have been 1974 or thereabouts. I remember all the “town” roleplayers and the shootouts! It felt like the Old West. I also remember the full-sized replica of The Alamo, which was in really good shape back then. What has happened to it is sad.

I used to go to Alamo village on school field trips from Sacred Heart Academy in Del Rio in the late 70's and/or early 80's. Amazing how much I didnt remember. I remembered the jail with the dummies in the beds, the saloon where you could get a root beer and the stage coach rides. Sad to see what's become of it but I can't say that I'm surprised.

thank you that brought back alot of memories. I grew up there for three years with my grandparents. I miss that old place. the golf courses were great . I learned to swim at that pool .Went hunting there also . I have not been back there since 1990. God i miss that place. Thinking of retiring there .Or just moving there . These are on clearance at Ontario Canadian tire stores for $39.99. Not many left. I grabbed 4 as I have a large farm and need them. I also seen that one guy put an LED bulb inside it aswell. I might try that out, might get better battery life?

Hi there, nice set up. Man, that 420X looks like a long boat. Lots of room for all your ideas & mods. You actually have to register inflatable kayaks in the great state of Texas? As for my main interest in your video, could you please tell me what the dimensions of that motor mount aluminum bar/plate is? I can't find the actual size on Sea Eagle's web site. I want to use it on a Sea Eagle FastTrac 385 as a base/anchor point for a small sailing mast & attach it to the front like you did. How long, wide & thick is it? I'm guessing about 48" long if your boat is 36" wide & maybe 8" wide & about 1/2" thick. It would be a big help if anyone could tell me the actual exact measurements. The width & thickness are the two main critical measurements I need to know for my application. I will probably cut it shorter so it's only as wide as the boat or maybe 1" wider on either side.
